Saturday, May 28th, 1pm - 3pm
If you’re a forager who would like to hone your plant identification skills, then this series of workshops is for you! Join Maria Wesserle of Four Season Foraging as we learn about wild edible plants of spring. We will talk some about plant uses, but the focus of these classes is plant identification, especially learning to identify plants without flowers present. Much of the class time will be spent observing, sketching, and journaling about plants. Suggested age 16 and up (those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.)
Meet at the corner of the Midtown Greenway (north of Lagoon Ave.) and James Ave S. (See map here.) There will be a sign that reads “Four Season Foraging.”
Accessibility: This event will be held on mostly even ground with short grass, as well as on a paved trail. Total distance traveled will be around a half mile.
Sliding scale $55 - $95. For more details, please email info@fourseasonforaging.com or call 612-440-5958.
