Urban areas offer more foraging opportunities than you may think! Join Maria Wesserle and Four Season Foraging at Tamales y Bicicletas Farm, located right in the city of Minneapolis! In addition to growing domesticated crops, it hosts a diverse array of wild edibles, including stinging nettle, lamb’s quarters, wild mustards, and many others. We will explore the wild foods of the farm and the surrounding neighborhood, discussing identification, harvest, and preparation techniques. If we’re lucky there may be a few things we can pick!

Meet at the Tamales y Bicicletas Farm, 2820 15th Ave S. in Minneapolis. There will be a sign that reads “Four Season Foraging.”

Sliding scale $15-$35. There is one scholarship available. For more details, please email info@fourseasonforaging.com or call 612-440-5958.
