If April showers bring May flowers, what do April blizzards bring? Hopefully lots of tasty plants for the local forager to enjoy! Join Maria Wesserle and Four Season Foraging as we hike through Theodore Wirth Park and learn what wild edibles and medicinals spring has to offer. Plants we will probably encounter include garlic mustard, burdock, cattail, nettle, dandelion, and many others! Please note that you are not allowed to pick these plants on park land, but you will be taught how to identify, harvest, and prepare them. You will also get to enjoy samples harvested from other locations!
